Why Positive Intelligence is Important to me.

Alissa Ward is V.P. of HR and Marketing at Iowa State Bank in Fairfield, Iowa. What is Positive Intelligence? According to Shirzad Chamine, founder of Positive Intelligence, everyone has two regions of their brain that have very different functions. We have a Survival Brain, the more primitive part of our brain that is constantly on the lookout for danger, triggering the fight or flight response.

Everyone also has a region of their brain that mediates the powers of empathy, objective exploration, innovation, navigation among options, and clear-eyed, laser-focused action. We label that our Sage Brain.
